Habitat: Local on the margin of a small beaver pond along the narrow drainage between Bannick and Rug Lakes. Several dense and robust clumps along a moose trail in the narrow shoreline zone. Shallow, moist, organic soil amongst boulders. In full sun most of the day.
Associated Species: Associates include Carex michauxiana, C. utriculata, C. lasiocarpa, Calamagrostis canadensis, Agrostis scabra, Glyceria borealis, G. canadensis, G. grandis, Chamaedaphne calyculata, Juncus brevicaudatus.
