Habitat: Local on the margins of a small (2-acre) bog pond surrounded by poor conifer swamp in a depression on the ridge northeast of Brule Bay. Full sun. Wet peat in a narrow zone of poor fen at the edge of the pond. Small, loose patches.
Associated Species: Associates include Juncus brevicaudatus, Carex limosa, Scheuchzeria palustris, Drosera intermedia, D. rotundifolia, Chamaedaphne calyculata, Kalmia polifolia, Vaccinium oxycoccus.
