Habitat: Local in a small ditch emptying into the south shore of First Lake, at the public boat access. Forming dense patches of inter-tangled stems in shallow water just off the main body of the lake. On small floating chunks of peat, likely dislodged from boggy sections of the lake shore. Amongst mats of an aquatic moss. Upper portions of the flowering stems are emergent; plants otherwise submerged. Full sun. Yellow flowers.
