Local on the lower portion of fairly steep, 260-foot, northeast facing bluff on the west side of White Rock Trail, south of Hwy 19. Infrequent to occasional in mesic hardwood forest, recently selectively salvage-logged (post-windthrow). Partial shade of Acer saccharum, Tilia americana, and Fraxinus nigra. Understory of Staphylea trifolia and Carya cordiformis. Compacted loam.
