Habitat: Occasional in a narrow and gently-sloping shoreline zone, 3-6 inches above lake level. Relatively fine tan sand. Full sun most of the day.
Associated Species: Associates include Populus tremuloides seedlings, Carex cryptolepis, Cyperus bipartitus, Eleocharis quinqueflora, Scirpus atrovirens, Agrostis scabra, Poa compressa, Dichanthelium acuminatum, Juncus brevicaudatus, Euthamia graminifolia, Bidens sp.
