Habitat: Locally frequent in shallow water from the public boat access southward to the large point on the opposite shore (where the shoreline bends sharply to the northwest). Loose colonies in a rather broad zone of fine sand with widely scattered boulders in water 3-5+ feet deep.
Associated Species: Associates include Myriophyllum tenellum, Isoetes lacustris, Ranunculus flammula, Juncus pelocarpus.
