Habitat: Local on a narrow sandbar (~6 feet wide by 50 feet long) exposed by receding water levels. Occasional in moist sand 1-4 inches above the current river level. Full sun most of the day here.
Associated Species: Associates include Leersia oryzoides, Echinochloa muricata var. microstachya, Eleocharis intermedia, Scirpus atrovirens, Veronica catenata, Zosterella dubia, Alisma sp., Ranunculus aquatilis, Sparganium eurycarpum.
