Elevation: 588 meters Verbatim Elevation: 1930ft

Habitat: Occasional to frequent in poor conifer swamp in a small peatland between low bedrock (diabase/gabbro) ridges north of Ball Club Creek, east of Trine Lake. Full sun to partial shade of stunted Picea mariana, and scattered Larix laricina. Forming loose patches in a ground layer dominated by Chamaedaphne calyculata. Moist peat. Continuous Sphagnum moss carpets.

Associated Taxa: Additional associates include Ledum groenlandicum, Kalmia polifolia, Vaccinium oxycoccus, Gaultheria hispidula, Alnus incana, Smilacina trifolia, Carex pauciflora.
