Elevation: 582 meters Verbatim Elevation: 1910ft

Habitat: Rare to occasional (very locally) on a long, low bedrock point on southern shore. Loose patches on a very gradually sloping lakeshore increasingly exposed by receding water levels (~12 inches below the early season high mark). Moist sand (over gabbro/diabase bedrock), just above the water line. Full sun.

Associated Taxa: Associates include Carex cryptolepis, C. echinata, C. lasiocarpa, C. michauxiana, Eleocharis palustris, Juncus brevicaudatus, Euthamia graminifolia, Utricularia cornuta, Hypericum majus, Viola pallens, Drosera rotundifolia, Myrica gale.
