Local, occasional to frequent in a small (~5-acre) basin southwest of Globe Lake. Loose to dense patches in sedge fen. Quaky saturated peat; sometimes in shallow water. Often in carpets of Sphagnum mosses. Full sun.
Associates include Rhynchospora alba, R. fusca, Carex echinata, C. michauxiana, C. lasiocarpa, C. utriculata, Dulichium arundinaceum, Muhlenbergia uniflora, Viola pallens, Drosera intermedia, D. rotundifolia, Utricularia cornuta, U. intermedia, Myrica gale.
