Habitat: Local in a beaver-altered wetland southeast of Carl Lake. Forming dense patches in wet mucky substrate between snags of Thuja occidentalis and Picea mariana in an area that had been (as least as late as 1998) a cedar swamp prior to beaver flooding; the beaver pond drained when the large beaver dam was breached in ~2009. Full sun.
Associated Species: Associates include Agrostis scabra, Carex canescens, Scirpus atrocinctus, Epilobium leptophyllum.
