Habitat: Infrequent in rich shrub fen in a small wetland along the drainage east of Snack Lake. Loose groups of plants on Sphagnum hummocks in zones dominated by Carex lasiocarpa, with frequent Typha xglauca, Chamaedaphne calyculata, Myrica gale, and stunted Alnus incana. Full sun. Saturated peat. Wetland recovering from beaver flooding ~15 years ago.
Associated Species: Additional associates include Carex leptalea, C. echinata, Potentilla palustris, Triadenum fraseri, Drosera rotundifolia.
