Habitat: Locally common near the end of narrow peninsula in the northwest portion of the lake. Dense clumps, in small dense patches, just above boulders exposed along the water line. Full sun to partial shade of Thuja occidentalis and Picea mariana.
Associated Species: Associates include Myrica gale, Alnus incana.
