Habitat:
Local along the northeastern shore of Cliff Lake, on the lower portion of a steep south- to southwest-facing slope of a 250-foot bedrock ridge. Occasional along the upper edge of a dry talus slope, at the base of an 80-foot high granitic cliff. Stems trailing over talus blocks and on small shrubs. Full sun. Talus blocks are angular and moderate sized here (mostly ~4-18 inches in diameter).
Associated Species:
Associates include Toxicodendron rydbergii, Polygonum cilinode, Corylus cornuta, Agropyron trachycaulum.
