Habitat:
Very locally abundant on and near the shores of a small (2-acre) bog pond north of the west end of Kiskadinna Lake. Loose to fairly dense patches in a narrow zone at or very near the water's edge on the south side of the pond. Quaky saturated peat. Continuous Sphagnum carpets. Mostly in full sun.
Associated Species:
Associates include Chamaedaphne calyculata, Andromeda glaucophylla, Kalmia polifolia, Carex lasiocarpa, C. limosa, Rhynchospora alba, Scheuchzeria palustris, Utricularia cornuta, Pogonia ophioglossoides, Menyanthes trifoliata, Sarracenia purpurea, Lycopodiella inundata.
