Habitat:
Rare and local on a dry gabbro outcrop on the edge of a ridge overlooking the small drainage east of Muskeg Lake and north of the west end of Kiskadinna Lake. Mostly in full sun (to partial shade of Picea mariana and Pinus banksiana in the adjacent conifer woodland). Rooted along crevices in thin organic detritus over the rounded and rather steeply sloping bedrock.
Associated Species:
Immediate associates here include Corydalis sempervirens and Cladina spp. Also nearby on this outcrop are Dichanthelium acuminatum, Sibbaldiopsis tridentata, Aralia hispida, Vaccinium angustifolium, V. cespitosum.
