Elevation: 594 meters Verbatim Elevation: 1950ft

Habitat: Frequent in a wet-mesic zone along an intermittent stream drainage through old growth upland cedar forest north of Footsteps Lake. Canopy of large Thuja occidentalis, with Fraxinus nigra locally. Fairly dense understory includes Acer spicatum, Corylus cornuta, and Prunus virginiana. Small patches in moist silty organic soil.
