Elevation: 530 meters Verbatim Elevation: 1740ft

Habitat: Occasional to frequent on gentle to rather steep north-facing slope above the south shore of Swan Lake. Old growth upland cedar forest dominated by large Thuja occidentalis, with occasional Betula cordifolia. Patchy understory of Acer spicatum, Abies balsamea, Thuja occidentalis. Organic rocky silty soil with a quite thick and spongy duff layer. No cleistogamous flowers present.

Associated Taxa: Additional associates include Carex pedunculata, Athyrium angustum, Viola renifolia, Huperzia lucidula, Coptis trifolia, Mitella nuda, Circaea alpina, Rubus pubescens, R. parviflorus, Taxus canadensis.
