Local on the shores of Swan Lake. Forming dense patches in sand along the northern shoreline, in the western end of the lake ~1/4-mile from the mouth of the inlet stream (South Brule River) from Vernon Lake. Dominant here in a narrow zone that includes shallow water and the adjacent wet shore just above the current lake level. Full sun. Leaves with a bluish-green hue.
