Habitat: Occasional along the shoreline in the large bay at the eastern end of Vernon Lake. Several fairly dense patches rooted in organic silt amongst rocks and boulders just above the water line. Full sun to partial shade of Thuja occidentalis, Pinus strobus, and Picea mariana in the adjacent mesic upland forest.
Associated Species: Associates include Myrica gale, Chamaedaphne calyculata.
