Habitat: Local on the margins of a beaver pond along a small drainage west of Prop Lake. Common in moist to rather dry and cracked mucky clay on broad mud flats exposed by receding water levels (due to an extended drought). Full sun.
Associated Species: Associates include Eleocharis palustris, Dulichium arundinaceum, Scirpus atrocinctus, Juncus brevicaudatus, Torreyochloa pallida, Glyceria canadensis, Bidens connata, B. cernua, Sparganium emersum, Iris versicolor, Myriophyllum farwellii.
