Habitat: Locally abundant along the slack water flowage through a small peatland basin between Meeds and Caribou lakes. Forming dense tangled mats in shallow water, and on narrow mucky mud flats on the margins of the flowage (where plants are somewhat emergent). Full sun.
Associated Species: Associates include Sparganium emersum, S. americanum, Sagittaria latifolia, Hippuris vulgaris.
