Habitat:
Occasional to common in poor conifer swamp surrounding a small (~4-acre) bog pond north of Allen Lake. Occurring mostly on middle and lower branches of somewhat stunted Picea mariana. Patchy canopy; full sun to partial shade. Substrate is saturated peat. Continuous Sphagnum carpets.
