Habitat: Local along the Crocodile River flowage between Crocodile and Kiowa lakes. Small dense patch of hundreds of plants in shallow water (<3 inches deep) and stranded on the adjacent peaty shore. Full sun.
Associated Species: Associates include Hypericum boreale, Callitriche palustris, Mimulus ringens, Hippuris vulgaris, Calla palustris, Carex lacustris, Bidens cernua, Sagittaria sp. Also common with Torreyochloa pallida in a mucky shoreline setting ~85 yards to the east.
