Habitat: Frequent in small (2-acre) bog pond north of Squash Lake, east of Turnip Lake. Rooted in silty muck in water ~3-4 feet deep, near the edge of the poor sedge fen that surrounds the pond. Dense patches. Leaves deeply submersed in very dark chocolate-brown water.
Associated Species: Associates include Potamogeton epihydrus, P. pusillus, Sparganium sp.
