Habitat: Infrequent along the south shore of Fishhook Lake. Forming small but often dense patches in pockets of moist sand amongst stones and boulders just above the current lake level; in a narrow zone exposed by receding water levels exacerbated by a late summer drought (lake is down ~12-18 inches from the early season high mark). Full sun to partial shade.
Associated Species: Associates include Juncus brevicaudatus, Eriocaulon aquaticum, Myrica gale.
