Habitat: Locally common on the shore of a small lake east of the Brule Lake Hiking Trail southeast of Fishhook Lake. Forming rather dense patches in wet muck and shallow peat on the lakeshore, at the northwest end of the narrow bedrock-entrenched lake. Some plants in water up to ~5 inches deep. Full sun.
Associated Species: Associates include Eleocharis palustris, E. acicularis, Glyceria borealis, Sparganium emersum, Sagittaria latifolia.
