Locality: United States, Minnesota, Cook, Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness, Fairly rugged bedrock terrain between Eagle Mountain and Brule Lake, 16 miles northwest of Grand Marais. T63N R2W SE1/4 of NE1/4 of NE1/4 Sec. 28

Elevation: 576 meters Verbatim Elevation: 1890ft

Habitat: Locally common on the shore of a small lake east of the Brule Lake Hiking Trail southeast of Fishhook Lake. Forming rather dense patches in wet muck and shallow peat on the lakeshore, at the northwest end of the narrow bedrock-entrenched lake. Some plants in water up to ~5 inches deep. Full sun.

Associated Taxa: Associates include Eleocharis palustris, E. acicularis, Glyceria borealis, Sparganium emersum, Sagittaria latifolia.
