Description: Cortinarius huronensis (possible var. olivaceus?; ECOLOGY: Found in sphagnum moss (in dry conditions). Three individuals and immature specimen growing in group. Pines were dominant in the area. CAP: Brown/olive. 25 mm width. Conical, then flat. Fibrillose. KOH deep red/brown on cap. GILLS: Brownish-yellow with hint of olive. Semi-close.STEM: Firm and slender. SPORE PRINT: brown
