Habitat: Very gently sloping shore of Little Trout Lake, above water at this time, but expect location to be at least seasonally inundated most years
Substrate: Thin organic layer over sand under a tight mosaic of cobbles
Associated Species: Carex pseudocyperus, Lycopus sp., Imaptiens capensis, Ranunculus flammula, Drosera rotundifolia, seedlings of Thuja occidentalis, Acer rubrum, Betula papyrifera, Abies balsamea
