Elevation: 353 meters (1158ft)
Habitat: Occurring near lake margin in a transitional northern rich tamarack swamp. 50% canopy cover of Larix laricina, Betula papyrifera, and Abies balsamea. Soil substrate is saturated muck with hummock and hollow topography. Species associates include Alnus incana subsp. rugosa, Cornus sericea, Iris versicolor, Rubus pubescens, Chelone glabra, Calamagrostis canadensis, Carex leptalea, and Rhododendron groenlandicum.
Description: Flowering with bearded clavate lateral petals.
