Habitat: low gradient area of creek
Associated Species: Salix serissima, Juncus balticus, Salix bebbiana, Salix pseudomonticola, Salix planifolia, Dasiphora fruticosa, Carex aurea, Carex nebrascensis
Description: plants measuring up to 5-6' height; several hundred genets in approximately 5 acres
Notes: peak flowering in last week May 2019 with voucher sampled at peak fruiting (pistillate); species only known to occur in six other sites in South Dakota
