Habitat: Solid Alnus canopy about 4m tall, growing from hummocks in a floodplain. Soils: 28cm to clay; 20cm to water table.
Associated Species: Common Associates: Carex stipata var. stipata, Carex lacustris, Ribes hudsonianum, and Urtica dioica subsp. gracilis.
