Moderately shrubby. Dominated by Salix planifolia and Salix discolor with occasional Salix petiolaris. Ground dominated by Andropogon, Sporobolus, and Calamagrostis stricta. Very diverse. Occasional medium sized glacial erratic boulder scattered at surface. Very hummocky. Landowner has only owned the property for 6 years, but says it was grazed in past. He doesn't do anything to it. Fairly thick thatch. Some Elaeagnus encroaching near old fence line along Highway 1.
Common Associates: Andropogon gerardii, Calamagrostis stricta, Carex tetanica/meadii, and Muhlenbergia richardsonis.
