Habitat: Water level just below ground level - and many deep pools. Lots of moss cover including Sphagnum. Cedar dominated canopy with many cedars growing laterally before ascending into canopy. Little coarse woody debris. Water pH neutral. Very little deer browse. A couple tip-up mounds present.
Associated Species: Common Associates: Carex leptalea, Cornus canadensis, Coptis trifolia, and Mitella nuda.
