Habitat: Occasional throughout sloped dry prairie community on west-facing slope (9°). Slope faces Lac Qui Parle Lake. Prairie was burned in the spring. Full sun.
Substrate: Clay loam soil.
Associated Species: Associated species include Bromus inermis, Rosa arkansana, Solidago altissimum, Sorghastrum nutans, and Cirsium arvense.
