Habitat:
Plants localized to area at the wetland margin, about 5 meters from cattail edge. Wet prairie community at fringe of wetland, with bluestem as the dominant grass. Moist soil. Full sun.

Associated species include Andropogon gerardii, Symphyotrichum oolentangiense, Medicago lupulina, Poa pratensis, Packera cf. pseudaurea, Liparis loeselii, Equisetum arvense.
