Habitat:
Abundant in rich forested swamp dominated by Thuja occidentalis and Picea mariana. Dominated by Sphagnum and feathermosses with minimimal hummock-hollow development. Understory is very open.
Associated Species:
Other associates include Carex tenuiflora, Listera cordata, Platanthera obtusata, Cypripedium parviflorum var. makasin, Polygala paucifolia, Mitella nuda, Coptis trifolia.
