Locality: United States, Minnesota, Beltrami, 0.35 miles north of corner where Sumac Rd and Pincherry Lane meet; 1.9 miles south of Turtle River.

Habitat: A few clumps growing along somewhat weedy, moist forest road (logging road turned ATV road). Adjacent to a large cedar swamp to the west and harvested mesic forest to the east.
Associated Species: Other associates include Helianthus strumosus, Trifolium pratense, Carex cf. bebbiana, Solidago canadensis, Poa pratensis.
