Habitat: Locally abundant on steep slope (ice push ridge) facing Big Lake. Hardwood forest dominated by Acer saccharum with Tilia Americana and Betula papyrifera. Heavy layer of Carex pensylvanica also common.
Associated Species: Other associates include Solidago flexicaulis, Smilax sp., Circaea lutetiana, Arisaema triphyllum, Asarum canadense, Sanguinaria canadensis, Osmorhiza claytonii.
