Habitat: Black Spruce and cedar-dominated swamp with minimal hummock-hollow development with a continuous mat of Sphagnum and feathermosses. Occasional patches Huperzia throughout swamp.
Associated Species: Associates include Mitella nuda, Gaultheria hispidula, Goodyera repens, Coptis trifolia, Carex gynocrates, Carex vaginata, Linnaea borealis, Cornus canadensis, Trientalis borealis, Rhododendron groenlandicum.
