Locality: United States, Minnesota, Freeborn, Myre Big Island State Park, ca 4.25 km (2.6 miles) E-SE of the approximate center of Albert Lea. Common in a brushy old field habitat. Cornus drummondii also present, along with suspected hybrid between C. racemosa and C. drummondii. SE of SW of section
