Habitat: Growing near the western shoreline of Minnesota Lake (ID 47014000), a 115 acre shallow, eutrophic basin situated in the Minnesota River Prairie Subsection. Moderate water clarity. Lake almost entirely Typha-fringed. Locally sparse. Submerged in 15 centimeters of water at the public water access.
Substrate: Soft, muck substrate.
Associated Species: Associated with Spirodela polyrrhiza, Lemna sp.
