Habitat:
Found in the western basin of Clearwater Lake (ID 86025200), a large 3,000 acre lake situated in the Big Woods Subsection. Growing in Black Pool Bay. Sheltered area. At the public water access in part shade cast by the dock. Locally common. Submerged in 15 centimeters of water.
Substrate:
Sand substrate.
Associated Species:
Associated with Nitella sp.
