Habitat: Growing near the northern shoreline of Sunset Lake (ID 01020800), a 220 acre mesotrophic basin situated in the St. Louis Moraines Subsection. Near the public water access. Submerged in less than 0.3 meters of water.
Substrate: Sand-silt substrate.
Associated Species: Associated with Eriocaulon aquaticum, Potamogeton robbinsii, Sagittaria latifolia.
