Habitat: Growing near the eastern shoreline of Elkhorn Lake (ID 34011900), an 80 acre mesotrophic basin situated in the Minnesota River Prairie Subsection. Good water clarity. Small, protected shallow bay. Submerged in 0.6 meters of water.
Substrate: Silt substrate.
Associated Species: Associated with Ceratophyllum demersum, Elodea canadensis, Lemna trisulca, Myriophyllum sibiricum, Najas flexilis, Potamogeton richardsonii, Ranunculus aquatilis.
Description: In fruit.
