Habitat: Growing near the northern shore of Pulaski Lake (ID 86005300), an 810 acre lake with the main basin situated in the Big Woods Subsection. Occurring in a protected bay referred to as Little Pulaski, situated in the Anoka Sand Plain Subsection. Highly developed shoreline with less development in bay. Water clarity high. Locally abundant, forming dense patches in 1 meter of water. Hundreds of individuals in flower with flowers held just above the water's surface.
Substrate: Sand-silt substrate.
Associated Species: Associated with Nymphaea odorata, Potamogeton pusillus.
