Habitat: Growing near the northern shoreline of Ripley Lake (ID 47013402), a 600 acre eutrophic, bowl-shaped basin situated in the Minnesota River Prairie Subsection. Locally common. Found in up to 0.8 meters of water.
Substrate: Sand substrate.
Associated Species: Associated with Stuckenia pectinata, Najas flexilis, Chara sp.
