Habitat: Growing in the southeast arm of Long Lake (ID 34006600), a 325 acre mesotrophic basin situated in the Minnesota River Prairie Subsection. Sheltered area. Moderate water clarity. Found in 1.2 meters of water.
Substrate: Soft, muck substrate.
Associated Species: Locally scattered among Nuphar variegata, Potamogeton illinoensis, Utricularia vulgaris.
