Habitat: Growing near the eastern shoreline of Jennie Lake (ID 47001500), a shallow 1,100 acre eutrophic basin situated in the Big Woods Subsection. Occasional in a sheltered bay. Submerged in 0.8 meters of water with flowers rising towards the water's surface throughout the bay.
Substrate: Soft, muck substrate.
Associated Species: Associated with Ceratophyllum demersum, Nymphaea odorata, Potamogeton zosteriformis, P. friesii, Lemna trisulca, Spirodela polyrrhiza.
