Habitat: Found in August Lake (ID 38069100), a 230 acre basin situated in the Laurentian Uplands Subsection. Bog-stained water. Occurring in the channel leading to the southwest arm. Sheltered area with large boulders scattered and exposed above waterline. Individual found uprooted with 3/4th of plant in water and 1/4th of plant stranded above the waterline against a boulder.
Associated Species: Associated with Nymphaea odorata, Eriocaulon aquaticum.
